April 26, 2014 Paso Robles

Explore the appellation's most sought-after collection of Cabernet Sauvignon and red Bordeaux varietals, enjoy exclusive access to winemakers and savor the culinary creations of some of the region's top chefs at a walk-around tasting event.

After the success of the inaugural CABs of Distinction event (launched last year to celebrate and promote Cabernet Sauvignon and red Bordeaux wines produced in Paso Robles, California) and the increased momentum from Paso Robles being named Wine Region of the Year by Wine Enthusiast Magazine, the PRCC has geared up for even more exciting events in 2014. Set for April 22 through 26, 2014, CABs of Distinction events will take place in locations across the Paso Robles AVA with enhanced sommelier, media, trade and consumer experiences. Check it out.

May 15 - 18, 2014.

November 2014 Windmill Farms, Paso Robles

The fourth annual Paso Garagiste Festival is coming back to Paso Robles, California in November at the amazing Windfall Farms. Check back for more info.

Garagiste is a 100% independent, pro-consumer purveyor of wine, food, wisdom, and esoteric tidbits of travel and culture with an international following bred from respect and trust for our frank and open discourse on topics many would rather brush under the rug. We are not very popular with other wine retailers or those in the trade, but we are extremely popular with consumers.

GARAGISTES - (gar-uh-zhē-stuh) n, Fr. – A term originally used in the Bordeaux region of France to denigrate renegade small-lot wine makers, sometimes working in their garage, who refused to follow the “rules.” Now a full-fledged movement responsible for making some of the best wine in the world. Who’s laughing now, Francois?  more info
