The American Fine Wine Competition has announced their 2011 winners. Wines are poured in private and taken to judging tables by wine professionals serving as “Wine Angels.” In order for a wine to be given any particular medal, at least 75% of the panel must agree. Double Gold medals are given when 100% of the panel agrees the wine is worthy of a gold medal. 

      Best of Show Awards include:
  McKeon-Phillips 2006 Cabernet Franc
  Chamisal Vineyards 2008 Chardonnay
  Michael-David 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon
  Wilson Winery 2008 Zinfandel

            Double Golds include:
  Gregory Graham 2009 Chardonnay
  Sonoma-Loeb 2009 Chardonnay 
  Titus Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon  
  Rocca Family 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon
