A special, romantic wine appreciation class for lovers of port, chocolate, cheese or just lovers!
 Treat your sweetheart to a Valentine’s gift that’s better than a box of chocolates. This First Crush “insider” Sip & Learn appreciation class will be like a journey to Portugal guided by Roxo Port Cellars winemaker Jeffery Steele. Taste and learn how traditional ports are made, barrel sample individual port varietals, learn what the port varietals are, how they are produced, and how growing them and making port differs from table wine production. After that, enjoy a port and chocolate and port and cheese pairing featuring Roxo’s current releases including the 2005 Magia Preta (not generally available for tasting) at the all new Meritage Tasting Lounge. (And yes, cigars are available for sale.)
If this isn’t sweet enough already, there’s more! Roxo Port Cellars will be offering First Crush customers a generous 30% discount on all wine purchases that day. You’ll also be able to stay and enjoy the grand opening celebration of the Meritage Lounge.
There will be live music, appetizers and seven wineries pouring. Roxo and First Crush will also have Valentine’s Day gift packs available for sale to please your sweetheart.– all FREE of charge.
