Paso Robles Harvest Wine Weekend
October 17-19, 2008, Paso Robles

Each year in October, wineries open their doors to offer an abundance of activities. Over the three day weekend you will find more than 100 individual events at nearly 90 wineries. Take a cooking class and learn the art of food pairing, ride through the vines in a vintage jeep, stomp some grapes in traditional fashion, or enjoy a slower pace by indulging in a winemaker dinner, barrel sampling within the cool confines of the cellar, or taking in live music.

Harvest is that special time of year in Paso Robles Wine Country when warm days and cool nights are a buzz with activity.  The vineyards have changed color, blanketing the landscape in red and gold.  Scents of ripened fruit surround you and the echos of celebration from a hard year's work fill the air.  The harvested fruit is set to begin its transformation into premium Paso Robles wine and you are invited to come celebrate the beginning of the new vintage.
