Friday - Winemaker Dinners
It’s time to party ‘SLO-style’ , kick off the weekend with great local cuisine paired with the best SLO Vintners wines at one of the many winemaker dinners planned for Friday night.
Saturday - Grand Tasting & Auction
This year’s big party just got bigger! Help the SLO Vintners blow off some steam at the beautiful Avila Beach Golf Resort. More than 50 of the Central Coast’s best wineries and restaurants will be in attendance. Wine tasting, food, live and silent auction, music and more, it’s all included (plus you get free admission to the SLO Vintners open house on Sunday). This is one beach party you won’t want to miss. 1 to 5pm.
Back by popular demand, this year’s auction will once again open up with live music from the Winemaker's Band, ‘The Crushtones’, a group formed especially for last year’s Annual Event. For locals, and those from out of the area, this is a great time to explore San Luis Obispo and discover the culinary treasures of our unique region.
BACK STAGE PASSES
New this year, SLO Vintners will offer two additional event features in conjunction with the main event. A limited amount of “back stage passes” will kick off the day at 11AM. These special guests will get an hour early entrance to the event, and be able to sample special limited reserve wines, poured during this hour only. Early bird tickets are very limited.
Tickets to the Grand Tasting Event on Saturday are $80 and will be available on August 15, 2011, along with a list of weekend activities at, www.slowine.com. This year private tables are back! A table of 8 is $800, and gets you a front row private table at the auction, and VIP service, and also gets you back stage passes for Saturday too. Don’t miss out on this unforgettable weekend in SLO Wine Country!
Sunday - SLO Vintners Open House
This party’s not over yet. On Sunday visit the SLO Vintners wineries and tasting rooms for more wine, tours, tastings and special discounts. Meet and mingle with the people who make the wine (don’t forget your Saturday event tickets gets you in free!).
