Between the coastal route of Highway 1 and the inland artery of Highway 101 is Hecker Pass Road, or Highway 152. There area a half dozen wineries located here with many selling their wine only in their tasting room and in a few select establishments. The landscape is dotted with nurseries, horses and vineyards. The wineries are mostly homey, family affairs with complimentary tasting and a decidedly laid back atmosphere.
