The Dry Creek Appellation is loaded with dozens of wineries open for tasting. The mood along this wine road is relaxed and friendly. Known for spicy “old vine” Zinfandel and Sauvignon Blanc the region also grows Chardonnay, Chenin Blanc, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon. This tour starts up in the hills at the unique Fritz Underground Winery and continues along stopping at the Italian villa destination winery of Ferrari-Carano. The tour ends a few blocks from downtown Healdsburg at the historic Seghesio Family Vineyards. We have listed seven wineries but suggest you choose four or five to focus on. Check out their profiles by clicking through on their names.
