AronHill is a small boutique winery with winemaker owner Judy Aron living her dream of creating award winning wines. Her hands-on attention to every detail from planting through harvest to fermentation has created some wonderful wines including a very drinkable fruit forward Cabernet Sauvignon with lots of pepper and spice. Try the estate Primitivo, the Vinho Doce Port or the well made whites.
The AronHill property sits above their vineyard with expansive views from their outdoor deck. Inside is a n attractive tasting space with beamed ceilings, tile floors, a granite tasting counter and a full kitchen.
Chef Marco prepares lunch daily from 11am to 4pm. The menu changes weekly with gourmet delights. You are also welcome to call and place an order if you are short on time.
The grapes are grown and nurtured on a beautiful hillside in west side Templeton Gap at the corner of Highway 46 and Vineyard Drive. Here there is the perfect blend of sun (and moonlight) producing excellent fruit for their wines.
