Arrowood Vineyards and Winery Description
Tucked into the eastern hillside of the Sonoma Valley, Arrowood Vineyards and Winery is a perfect place to enjoy Sonoma County wines. From their Hospitality House veranda you can enjoy a sweeping view of the valley below and Sonoma Mountain above.
Arrowood produces classic varietal wines using grapes exclusively from Sonoma County's diverse viticultural areas such as Russian River Valley, Alexander and Dry Creek Valleys or Sonoma-Carneros. This approach has not changed since the winery was founded in 1986 by Richard Arrowood and his wife and partner, Alis Demers Arrowood.
The wine making style is a "non-interventional" approach, doing as little as possible to the wine - enhancing what Mother Nature provides with the judicious use of oak aging and layering of flavors based upon the terroir of a given vineyard.
Prior to founding Arrowood Vineyards and Winery, Dick Arrowood was the winemaker and first employee of nearby Chateau St. Jean. There are a number of tours that are available. Please call ahead for reservations.

ArrowoodGlass Man, Orange County Arrowood (same driveway as Imaginary) Enjoyed, but a tad pricey.
• 09 Saralee Gewürztraminer, $16. Tastes the same as Dutcher Creek, half the price.
• Cote de Lune Rouge, $30. Very nice.
• 06 Estate Merlot, $42. Not great, but it was a Merlot after all.
• 06 Estate Malbec, $42. Very nice.
• 05 Estate Sarah, $24.50 on special. OH-MY! I loved it!
• 05 Monte Rosso Cab, $50. Really good.
• 05 Kuljian Syrah, $37.

Country Charmkp, Coconut Creek The place is a lovely country setting. The view is lovely. They have a Cabernet that is out of this world! My husband and I are saving it for a special occasion. The parking was a little difficult.

ChardonnayWino, San Francisco Lovely spot a little off by itself but worth the trip. A nice homey feel and a great view to take in while you take in their beautiful Chardonnay. They know how to do it here.
