The vineyards seem to speak to you as you enter B & E Vineyard. The private drive out to the winery tasting room is flanked by vineyards and in the distance you can catch a glimpse of the 40 acres of livestock that mingle with the 60 acres of vineyards planted on the property. The warm and inviting western themed tasting room awaits you at the end of the road.
The tasting room is fashioned as a western style salon with a picturesque view of the surrounding vineyards, hillsides and pastures. There are two benches inside the tasting room to relax on while you enjoy B & E’s wines, or if you prefer, there is also an adjacent patio where you can sip their wine as the wind blows through your hair. An outside tasting bar is located on the patio for especially nice days, or for when the intimate tasting room gets a bit crowded.
B & E Vineyard is a family owned and operated and was originally planted in 1989. Jerry and Pat Bello, the wineries’ founders, started making their own wine in 1994, but did not label any for sale until 2002. The winery focuses on red varietals, and all wine is aged in French Oak for 20 months prior to bottling. B & E Vineyard is predominantly a Bordeaux house and you should be sure to check out their unique Merlot Blanc dessert wine.
