Beauregard Vineyards Description

Just a hop, skip and a jump away from downtown Santa Cruz in the small community of Bonny Doon, you will discover the quaint tasting room that is home to Beauregard Vineyards. The wooden tasting room enshrouded in creeping vines, fits in perfectly with the natural beauty surrounding it and welcomes you to come in to enjoy some of the wines that Beauregard Vineyards has to offer.

Upon entering, you will be greeted by their friendly staff, and might also have the opportunity to meet the winery dog Bakus, whose name means the God of Wine in Greek.

The Beauregard family has owned and operated the winery since the late 1940s, with four generations of family participating in maintenance of the vineyards, as well as the production and distribution of the wine.

The wines are made with estate fruit that is predominantly grown in the Santa Cruz Mountains. The winery offers a diverse range of wines to choose from including Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon and Zinfandel, so whatever your mood, Beauregard Vineyards is sure to have a wine that you will enjoy.

Fun Spot in Bonny Doon!
expat.j, Los Altos
Tasting room was expanded since I was there last time, but still so many people, a little too many people for my taste. Well, but that's a good thing for business :-) The wine didn't taste as good as I expected, but it may have been the weather. It was simply too hot!! Beautiful shady outdoor area seemed very nice especially if you are with children.

Hands down the best place for a picnic in Bonny Doon! Be sure to bring some tasty morsels and be prepared to stay awhile and enjoy the view.
