Bella Piazza Winery Description
The Italian-themed Bella Piazza Winery has a dramatic venue amid hundreds of acres of grapes in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. They offer a resort-style destination setting, with a large bistro-style patio, beautiful grounds, a luxurious fully stocked gift shop, an event center and robust Italian, Rhone and traditional California varietal wines to sample.
The specialty here is the rich red Rhone-style Shiraz and the Italian Montelpulciano. They also produce Semillon, Chardonnay, Old Vine Zinfandel, Barbera, Sangiovese, Cabernet Franc, Primitivo, Muscato and port.
Winery owners Erika and Jerry Wright have designed a beautiful setting for visitors. The tasting room is adorned with exclusive pottery, artwork, furniture, gifts and wine accessories. International flags adorn the walls, and the spacious tasting bar can accommodate large groups. Villa Toscano, their nearby sister winery, is also Italian-themed and is a destination in itself.

Open SpacesJoe, San Diego Such a beautiful place to be, if your not going to be hiking into the depths of the Sierras. The open spaces invite you to roam the hillsides but the wine keeps you close by. I especially appreciated the Italian Montelpulciano, it was ripe and not to bitter. I left with several bottles as gifts and for my personal collection. I am excited to join this majestic setting again someday soon.
