Briar Rose Winery Description

Nestled in the gentle rolling foothills of the Temecula Valley, this premium boutique winery produces outstanding estate-bottled wines. A stroll around the quaint, European cottage-style, estate quickly reveals the relaxed and peaceful attitude that goes into each bottle of wine produced by Briar Rose. They produce small lot, limited production wines made from their local vineyards.

Specializing in reds, the estate-grown offerings include an intense Estate Zinfandel, Zinfandel Port, Viognier, Orange Muscat and Riesling. Other offerings include a lively, fruity Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Sherry, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and a Special Reserve Alitaco Port.

I loved the simplicity and comfort in the quaint old cottages and with the comfortable and friendly staff. We stayed for a little over an hour and could of wandered around a little longer. The history of the winery is amazing! I can't wait till they start giving tours, that is the only thing that would top our wonderful experience.

Fairy tales do come true

This is an appointment only winery, napa-style. My husband and I were greeted at the front gate and shown to the tasting room. Let me start by saying that we thought we had made a wrong turn since this winery is off the beaten path in a residential setting. The hubby and I were the first people in the tasting room, which is beautiful. Great story behind the design of the winery itself, the orginal owner hand crafted the home to look like Snow White's home, its just beautiful. I sampled the exclusive wines for $25, my husband the standard selection for $15. Both were amazing. They were for a more sophisticated palate and delicious. Personal fave was the port, best I have tasted. Do not miss this winery it is truly an experience!
