Perched high upon Napa's Howell Mountain, CADE Winery invites visitors to experience a unique tasting adventure at their dramatic state-of-the-art winery and tasting room. This is Napa Valley’s first organically farmed, LEED Gold Certified Winery and it is a masterpiece of design, ambiance and function. Juan Carlos Fernandez of Lail Design Group was the project architect.
Visitors enjoy a hosted sit-down tasting in comfortable chairs and couches in their exquisite tasting lounge. Wonderful views, subtle furnishing and a gracious staff create the feeling that you at a good friends fabulous home about to share something special from the wine cellar.
The outside patio has one of the most inspirational views of the southern Napa Valley and is perfectly framed with a low slung horizontal fountain and cushy outdoor furniture to relax in.
CADE Winery produces Estate Cabernet Sauvignon Howell Mountain (made from the 19 acres of Cabernet vines at the winery), Cabernet Sauvignon Howell Mountain (from grapes purchased from small artisan growers in the Howell Mountain Appellation), the Napa Cuvee Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley (a Bordeaux style Cabernet Sauvignon) and a small production of Sauvignon Blanc.
The winery building is adjacent to the tasting space and clings to the wooded hillside. The 9,000 square foot Winery is connected to a network of caves totaling 15,000 square feet and used for barrel storage.
