Located at the far end of Rancho California Road, Chapin Family Winery and tasting room offers the ambiance of a small winery with an inviting country setting.  The Chapin Family has owned the property since 1987 and began planting the first vineyards of Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Petite Verdot in 2002.  By 2006, the first vintage of Cabernet Sauvignon wine was released to restaurants and the wine club.  Since then, additional vineyards have been planted in grape varietals of Montepulciano, Aglianico and Viognier. The tasting room opened in 2011, offering a beautiful view of the vineyards and the Temecula Valley. 

The Chapin Family believes in small lots of handcrafted wines, offering intense flavor with depth and balance that best represent the Temecula Valley Appellation.  It is said that 80% of the wine is sourced from the vineyard. To achieve that desired quality of wine, they have implemented intense European methods of farming that encourage full-bodied, ripe wine grapes. In addition, Chapin Family Vineyards utilize Appalachian oak barrels and extended aging to allow for the oak nuances to be maximized which adds a beautiful complexity to their wines. Chapin Family Vineyards invites you to take a small vacation to visit their boutique winery and relax on their patio, overlooking the beautiful vineyards
