Cliff Lede Vineyards Description
Situated on a quiet cross-road in Napa's Stag's Leap District, Cliff Lede is housed in a beautifully restored 1913 Craftsman-style building. More than just a winery, the property also houses Cliff Lede's personal sculpture collection, meticulously manicured grounds, an impressive art gallery, and its own B&B-- Poetry Inn.
The winemaking style focuses on Bordeaux varietals, with wines running the gamut from $22 all the way up to their flagship wine, the $120 Poetry Cabernet Sauvignon Stag's Leap District. Completed in 2005, the winery boasts the latest production technologies, and allows winemaker Michelle Edwards and consulting enologist Michel Rolland to focus specifically on creating small-batch estate bottled Bordeaux varietals. Also available are sparkling wines made in the traditional method from blends of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay fruit.
Guests are free to take their glasses out onto the sun-drenched patio and landscaped grounds. Formal tours are given daily at 10:30 am and 2:30 pm and provide a more in-depth view of the winery. VIP members can also enjoy a private tasting in the winery's Club Room.

Friendly Staffbnllnb, Philadelphia I have visited this winery twice in the past few years and plan to again soon. The staff is quite knowledge and friendly. It has a more intimidate feel compared to the more well-known wineries along the trail. Definitely worth a visit, especially if you like Champagne and/or Cabs

Fancy placeTylerBC05, San Rafael Overall a very nice place. The tasting fee was a little steep ($20 for 4 wines), but I guess they figure it's Napa (Stag's Leap District), so they can charge a little more. The building is new and stylish and very roomy inside. It's the kind of place that you could spend all day at, either sipping wine on the patio or strolling through the property. It was also very peaceful there too, owing to the fact that it's neither on Highway 29 nor Silverado Trail. Would definitely come back next time with more time on my hands.
