On a hilltop amidst Paso Robles wine country lies Croad Vineyards. It is surrounded by breathtaking views of the Templeton Gap, and situated in an incredible micro-climate, ideal for producing exceptional wines. The tasting fee is $5 per person and the winery specializes with their Zinfandel, although they have a wide array of other varietals including Grenache, Mourvedre, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Red, Bordeaux, or Red Rhone blends.
The winery is built with mission-style architecture blended with a New Zealand "KIWI" influence to bring a completely unique ambiance and experience. The tasting room is stylish and is adjoined by indoor and outdoor picnic areas. Croad Vineyards is pet friendly, there is RV parking, and vineyard and winery tours are available.
The winery is equipped with special event facilities and is a beautiful romantic setting for weddings. They also offer booking for private tours and barrel tasting with their own winemaker and owner. This is a one-on-one unique experience set in their barrel room, which includes light appetizers, wine tasting, barrel sampling, and wine making. Private events can also be organized.
