EOS Estate Winery Description
This is a large busy place with a great gift shop, lots of wine, self guided tours and a dramatic "Italian Villa" winery building.
Just off highway 46, six miles east of Paso Robles, the classic Italian architecture of EOS (the god of dawn) houses a 104,000 square foot winery with five acres of gardens for strolling and picnicking. Italian fir trees line the drive to the Estate Winery Visitor Center. Rose bushes and lush green lawns lead up to the massive production facility. The self-guided tours look down on the winery facility with information kiosks explaining the wine making operation.
This winery promises a grand wine experience with a 6000 square foot “Mediterranean Marketplace,” complete with complimentary wine tasting, a fully-stocked gift shop with Italian pottery, wine accessories and gourmet foods, a full deli case, and a fireplace with a giant elk head that looks down on patrons seated on the leather couch.
The winery markets three different wine brands offering many of the 35-plus Arciero, EOS and Novella wines, which include a number of dessert wines, semi sweet whites, barrel fermented Chardonnay and Fume Blanc, Bordeaux blends and late harvest Zinfandel. There is a also an exhibit with four race cars on site showcasing partner Frank Arciero’s racing career.

 Lots of wine hereWino, Monterey July, 2007 Eos is big place with an incredible Italian themed villa as the tasting room and winery. You can wander around and the grounds are very nice with roses and such. There was lots to taste and do here. We will come back with our family later this summer.
