Four Vines Winery Description
With winemaker Christian Tietje supervising, Four Vines is led by a hedonistic group and specializes in old vinezinfandel, eclectic Rhônes and Spanish varietals. In the winemaker’s words, “Four Vines wines capture the nectar of eternal youth - exotic, enticing, irreverent, bold, and seductive - unveiling and sparking a mysterious and personal story with every bottle.”
Passion, irreverence, and pleasure all can be found in the personality of this winery and its wines. Sourcing grapes from Paso Robles, Sonoma, Napa and Amador counties allows the winemaker to find just the right fruit to create his big and bold stylish wines. The winery has concentrated on zinfandel but also produces a range of wines including wines include rhone blend, syrahs, malbec petite verdot blend, tempranillo, syrah mouvedre blend, unoaked chardonnay
The tasting room, off of Highway 46 West. Outside there is a patio with tables and chairs. The handmade custom door allows you in to their large, new and sleekly arty and hip tasting room. It is an attractive place with custom table tops and an attentive staff. If you ask you can get a temporary custom Four Vines tattoo.
Farmstand 46 is located next door for adobe oven pizza, gourmet sandwiches and snacks.

mixed feelingsbruderlin, LA I have mixed feelings about this place. I like the funky atmosphere, I like the glasses, I even like the great market in front of it but I don't love the wines and I feel like there is a snooty attitude that ruins the experience. I was a member for a short time but cancelled after getting the feeling they really don't care about their members. They have new owners now, maybe it's different...

The best glasses with your tastingjennduran47, Valley Village I did my tasting outside and it was just great. The tasting room is a bit small so it is nice to have the outside option. The glasses that you get with your tasting are awesome stemless glasses that have various choices of logos. The perfect souvenir

Not too excitingTed_H, Atascadero The winery is OK, the wines just didn't quite suit my tastes... They had quite a selection of Zins when I visited but nothing that really 'hit the spot' for me. For somebody else, I'm sure one of their signatures could easily be a fast favorite.
It's worth a tasting stop just to try out their selection. Maybe you'll find a new favorite even though I didn't.
