Past the gates and cypress trees and up the hill alongside the vineyards, you come to a tan-colored winery building and the home of Hartwell Vineyards. “Grow the best grapes….make the best wine” is their trademark.

The heavy wood doors open to a cozy attractive tasting room. The focus here is on high quality handmade wine with no gift shop to clutter the tasting experience. This small boutique winery produces Boudreaux style wines and is known for their richly textured estate grown Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. They also grow and produce the classic Bordeaux grape varieties of Sauvignon Blanc, Petite Verdot and Cabernet Franc.

For an added treat indulge yourself with their VIP tasting program. Here they will escort your party to their private "Star" tasting room, deep within their 5000 square feet hillside cave, where you will experience their portfolio of wines perfectly paired with some of the most exquisite cheeses and a special Hartwell Truffle to top things off. These tours are held on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM. A reservation fee of $45.00 per person will apply.
