Herman Story Winery was established by winemaker Russell P. From, whose imaginative blends have such a passionate following of wine-tasting fans that they sell out repetitively. In less than a decade since its inception, Herman Story has become one of the most critically acclaimed wineries in America. Robert Parker and Wine Spectator have both given it top scores on numerous occasions. 

The winery produces small lots of Rhone-style wines, sourcing fruit from several of the Central Coast's most respected vineyards. These vineyards span from Santa Barbara all the way up the coast to Paso Robles. Among Herman Story Winery's collection is "Nuts & Bolts" Syrah, White Hawk Vineyard Syrah and Larner Vineyard Grenache. White and Red blends are also available.

Russell P. From releases his wines twice a year during spring and fall. The current collection was released in mid-September of 2011. There is a Wait List for the Wine Club since the wines are in such high demand, so the easiest course of action is to call ahead to the Herman Story Winery tasting room in downtown Paso Robles to make sure the vintage desired is available.The tasting room closes each vintage once current releases are sold out.
