Hidden Oak Winery is located in the heart of the Central Coast's wine country. Owner Mike James has always described the vineyard as a 'piece of heaven'. The winery and tasting room is located southeast of Paso Robles off El Pomar Road.
The vineyard soil is known as Linne Calodo and is considered the finest on the Central Coast. The rocky, limestone and clay composition provides a well-drained environment for grapes to grow.
The complexity and flavors found in Hidden Oak wines are a reflection of excellent growing conditions. Planted on subtle rolling hills, the vines capture the warmth of the sun during the day, and by late afternoon are cooled by gentle ocean breezes. This unique microclimate is what gives the fruit its distinctive personality. The result is a family of wines that are fruit-forward with harmonious flavors, rich velvety textures and long, lingering finishes.
