Located in a cool micro-climate on the southern end of the Santa Lucia Mountain Range discover this boutique family run winery making limited quantities of high quality, estate grown Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Syrah.
The cozy new tasting room is just inside the winery building with a bright copper topped tasting bar and a friendly staff. The 75 acre property is approximately seven miles from the coast exposing the 40 acre vineyard to brisk foggy
mornings. Day time temperatures are warm but much cooler than other Paso area vineyards. The vineyard consists of 24 acres of Pinot Noir, 7 acres each of Syrah 5 acres Chardonnay and 4 acres Grenache. These varieties were selected to fit the unique micro-climate of the vineyard’s location.
Jack Creek Cellars is owned by Doug and Sabrina Kruse who first came to the area in 1997 and bought the JRK Ranch renaming it Kruse Vineyards and Jack Creek Cellars. Check em out for a unique tasting experience up on the hillside in the far West side of Paso Robles.
