Kelham Vineyards is at the base of the Mayacamas mountain range and is perfectly suited terroir to produce ultra premium grapes. Rawson Kelham has farmed the vineyards in Oakville for the last thirty-five years. In 1998, Rawson and Susanna Kelham rebuilt the old Shadow Brook Winery on Zinfandel Lane in St. Helena. After three years, the ten-acre facility is now planted with seven acres of Cabernet Sauvignon grapes and a new winery facility is being constructed. The family works hard to create wines of consistent quality.
Kelham Vineyards offers private wine tastings hosted by the owners, who share their passion for winemaking, while pouring seven to eight wines, in the outdoor pavilion in warm weather and inside the salon by the fireplace in cooler weather. They also offer a special luncheon wine tasting, where they pair their wine with locally produced cheeses and charcuterie.
