Lambert Bridge Winery Description

A great place to taste small lots of artisan Bordeaux-style blends and varietal wines, as well as a great place for your picnic and maybe even learning how to cook in the wood-fired pizza oven in their alfresco kitchen.

Lambert Bridge Winery sits on the west side of Dry Creek Valley in an old, redwood-sided structure with a commanding rock chimney, all within a park-like setting. The expansive Mediterranean-style garden is hemmed in by redwoods and vineyards with a view of Dry Creek Valley. Shaded teak dining tables invite you to relax while enjoying your wine and food, and herb and edible-flower gardens border the alfresco kitchen and wood-fired pizza ovens. Frequent events liven up the peaceful setting.

Inside the spacious tasting room are redwood-sided walls and tile floors.
Thirty-five-foot tall windows look into the barrel room. An expansive, curly redwood bar fronted in hand-hammered copper is where the work is done as you taste through their list of fine wines. For those looking for a bit more, there is a rustic and elegant Reserve Room where, for a small charge, you'll enjoy an impressive lineup of limited-production wines served in Riedel glassware along with artisan cheeses and chocolate, and one-on-one conversations with either the proprietor or a knowledgeable staff member. Other VIP experiences are available; call for reservations.

The staff was snooty and rushed us through the tasting even though the place was empty. The pourer stared down at us as if we were not worthy of their wines. Not going back there again.
