Livermore Valley Cellars (LVC) Description
Tucked between a small, newly planted vineyard and new single-family homes is a collection of barrels, sheds, a barbecue, wine presses, picnic tables,
and - yes - a tasting room and small winery. Up on the small hill among mature shade trees is the very casual and slightly ramshackle winery of Livermore Valley Cellars.
“Wine of character made by characters” best describes LVC. The winemaking focuses on small lots and unusual varietals (and unusual clones of common varietals) made in ways that exploit the full range of character and flavor the grapes possess.
White wines include Semillon, Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay. Red wines include Sirah, Petite Sirah, Mourvedre, Alicante Bouschet, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc. LVC is also the home of Big Ass Zins.
They are passionate about their winemaking, but not snobbish in their attitude.
Inside the small concrete-floored tasting room is a simple tasting counter along with gift items including logo clothing, gourmet food items and wine accessories.

Down to earthNapaWino, Fresno Quaint vineyard and tasting room with a winery that's under construction in Livermore Valley. Very passionate about their wide array of White and Reds. Also some very catchy names like the "Big Ass Zin."
