Located at approximately 2,300 feet above sea level, the first thing you notice after ascending the long driveway to Loma Prieta’s tasting room is the glorious views of Santa Cruz and Monterey.  These views are only improved when you have the opportunity to relax in their tasting room or on the patio.  The tasting room is warm and welcoming, with a roaring fire in the winter to help remove any chill from the air.  Comfortable, enveloping chairs beckon you to sit down and relax while you sip wine and catch up with friends.  If you are not smiling yet, just wait until Mo, the winery dog comes up to greet you.  His happy, go lucky nature is sure to bring a smile to your face, as well as to the faces of any children who accompany their parents to the winery.  The tasting room is children friendly and offers coloring pads and markers for them to enjoy, as well as ample outdoor space.

The patio at Loma Prieta Winery is a place where one could surely spend hours soaking up the sun, and the gorgeous scenery.  On warm summer days, the patio invites you to sit back and relax and enjoy a picnic while absorbing the beauty around you.  Or if a little exercise is in order, be sure to challenge your friends to a spirited game of bocce ball, perhaps while sipping a glass of Viognier to balance out the warm summer heat.
