Magnavino Cellars Description
Magnavino Cellars became the latest addition to the small collection of wineries in Ventura County. The winery is located in Oxnard, California, where the temperate climate is frequently cooler than other regions of Southern California, and is quickly gaining a reputation for producing wines that are both elegant and complex.
Magnavino Cellars creates ultra-premium wines of character and distinction. The current portfolio contains nine different varietals, which includes 4 whites and 6 reds. All of the wines made by Magnavino are distributed exclusively from the winery, through our website and wine club, and a handful of exclusive restaurants.
The Magnavino production and barrel room is available for tours and can be reserved for special events. |

 My Own Backyardxtcmike, Oxnard Stopped in today just before closing and was quite pleased at the quantity and quality of the wines. There was a good fruit forward flavor throughout the different reds and a couple were quite superb. We ended up getting a bottle of old vine Zinfandel that wasn't opened but the place was crowed with wine club members who convinced them to open a bottle at closing. It was an easy decision when the tasting fee is applied to the purchase price. Thinking about joining the wine club - the pick-up party may convince me.

Great New Wineryphanson, Woodland Hills This is one of the newest tasting rooms on the Ventura County Wine Trail. Their wines are very good and they have a nice selection of both red and white wines. They serve cheese and the staff is great. I like their Pinot Grigio, Viognier and Barbera. I've seen the setup for their "pickup" party for club members. Looks like a nice affair with catered food and lots of wine tasting. Highly recommend.
