Livermore....so much closer than you think!

Tasting room has very comfortable atmosphere with very nice and friendly staff. Spacious & shady patio offered several sets of tables and chairs/sofas, and it is perfect for picnic! The flight menu consisted of Chardonnay, Rose, Cab, & Petite Syrah. This was my second wine tasting visit in Livermore Valley, and I know there will be many more visits coming! It says, ".....we're CLOSER than you think", and it is true!! to us at least ;-)

I have attended several of the McGrail Family's events for the past 1 1/2 years and I have brought several friends too with me to share in the festivities and we always leave having a great time at their winery. The Wnery sits on one of the rolling hills of the Livermore Wine Country and its view day or night cannot be beaten in the Valley. Plenty of great wines to taste, perfect food items that;s goes well with the wine and there is always live easy listening music that can't be beat in the Livermore Valley. You'll always get a chance to meet all of the McGrail Family when you visit their events and their hospitality and warmth makes it even more special when you come and enjoy their event!

Great wines and beautiful winery

Wonderful estate grown 100% cabs. This winery is truly a must when visiting Livermore valley. Their cabernet is special, big to start with a long vanilla oak finish. They also make a very good Chardonnay. The winery itself is beautiful. Perched on a hill overlooking the Livermore Valley, it is large and modern with lots of room. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. You will feel welcome the moment you walk in the door. McGrail is a shining example of the potential of Livermore wines.
