Omega Vineyard & Winery Description

Omega Cellars resides in a group of beige-colored buildings just off Highway 88. The winery began when Frank Natsis, owner and proprietor, decided to transition from the businesses of restaurants and farming to full-time winemaking. His focus is to grow the finest grapes his vineyards can yield and produce fine wines that are a complement to good food.

Omega produces estate-grown Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Zinfandel. He purchases Chenin Blanc, Shiraz and Carignane grapes from nearby Stanislaus County and from Clarksburg Winery in Yolo County to round out his production. A large part of the business is custom-crushing for a number of smaller wineries in the area. All the wines are made in jacketed stainless steel tanks and aged in French and American Oak barrels.

The tasting room is a small cozy space where a Natsis family member will be the most likely person to serve you, and will be one of the friendliest people you will ever meet.

The family that runs Omega is very friendly and we always have a wonderful time when we pick up our wine. We don't have it shipped because we would rather have a reason to visit this wonderful place and taste what they have in the works and learn from this knowledgeable family.

there is no big tour, or fancy stuff, just a good time with great wine and a friendly family.
