Orchid Hill Vineyard Description
Looking out on the downtown Paso Robles City Park is the new tasting room of Orchid Hill Winery. Orchid Hill is a 51 acre vineyard located on sloping limestone hills in the Templeton Gap area of the west side of Paso Robles growing Pinot Noir, Viognier Sangiovese, Grenache, Zinfandel and Syrah.
The low-vigor vineyards enjoy ideal southeast facing sun exposure and cooling afternoon breezes. The vines are hand tended and harvested producing wines with exceptional bouquet, depth of color, and impressive ripeness of flavors.
The tasting room has a granite topped tasting bar, bistro tables, a leather couch and a small patio out front to people watch while you sip your wine. In addition to their estate grown wines they also produce Pinot Grigio and a dry Muscat Canelli. Come by on Friday to  Sunday for their wine and cheese pairing evenings. Private wine and cheese pairing parties are also available in their Orchid room.
JEAN-PIERRE DE ROTHSCHILD
The tasting room is complimented by the art work of world renowned artist Jean-Pierre de Rothschild. His vibrant colorful works are a delight to experience. He will be appearing several times in person during 2008 including on October 17th and 18th for Paso Robles Harvest Festival.
