Pamo Valley Winery is a small family operated winery that was founded as a vineyard in 2000. The owner, Jennifer Jenkin, took over operations in 2007, making Pamo Valley the only woman owned winery in San Diego County. The winery has a strong female influence which is reflected in each individual, hand-crafted wine.
The winery produces Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Sangiovese, Zinfandel, Primitivo, Tempranillo and Petite Sirah with grapes from the Ramona Valley AVA. Their Black Canyon vineyard was planted in June 2008 with varietals including Orange Muscat, Viogner, Primitivo and Cabernet Sauvignon. In July 2010 they doubled in size by planting Sangiovese and more Cabernet Sauvignon. They also purchase grapes from local, quality growers.
Pamo Valley Winery is a licensed and bonded wholesale winery that markets its' limited production wines to restaurants, stores and events as well as through their wine club.
