Paridse Ridge Vineyards & Winery Description
The impressive grounds, buildings, art and event spaces of Paradise Ridge Vineyards and Winery enjoy a commanding west-facing view of Santa Rosa and the Russian River Valley. The small family-run winery is known for its limited-production vineyard-designated wines, with Sauvignon Blanc and Zinfandel their flagship offerings.
To find the winery, drive through residential areas until you reach a four-acre contemporary sculpture garden. Dozens of large-format sculptures are displayed in this natural outdoor gallery. Stop here to stretch your legs and take a stroll, or continue up the hillside to the wine-tasting and event facility.
There are numerous decks and verandas with commanding views of the vineyards and coastal hills. The large tasting room has an inlaid wood grape motif bar.
In addition to their flagship wines, Paradise Ridge produces Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon from a number of exclusive Sonoma County vineyards.
In the downstairs champagne cellar, there is an exhibit on Kanaye Nagasawa, known as “The Grape King,” who was the first winemaker at the historic Fountain Grove Winery. Inside the winery, beautiful Japanese embroidery graces the Vineroom, and picnic tables are outside for visitors to enjoy.
