Peloton Cellars Description

Peloton Cellars is located in the sunny, laid-back town of Avila Beach. You can taste their   award-winning wines in a relaxed, beach town setting.

Peloton Cellars® is the creation of four friends from “back-in-the-day”. It is their mission to create quality wines that are a pleasure to drink any night of the week and enjoy with any meal. All of the wines are crafted from the lush, fertile soil of the Paso Robles wine region of California’s Central Coast. From the well-balanced Cabernet to the crisp, refreshing Sauvignon Blanc, they pour (figuratively, of course) their love, knowledge and experience for making great wine into every bottle.

As for the name, the word “peloton” is French for “group”, but more specifically refers to the dynamic, main pack of riders in a cycling race. The owners love for wine rivals their passion for riding bikes, with their wine embodying the color and spirit of cycling.

They sell wine by the bottle and the glass as well as apparel & other wine-related merchandise.

Cool Theme, Great Wine
WineHound, San Luis Obispo
One of the most attractive storefront tasting rooms I have seen from the wide plank doug fir floor and reclaimed redwood bar to the light streaming in from their rotunda ceiling. It is a favorite for cyclists to enjoy and they support a number of local clubs. A great selection of wine for such a small producer, Chardonnay and Syrah were my favorites!

Close to the beach and good wines to boot
Wino,
Right in Avila in a cool comfortable spot down a little pedestrian walkway. Very good people and wine.
