Ployez Winery Description

Gerald and Shirley Ployez welcome you to their family run winery just south of the hamlet of Lower Lake. They are the only winery that produces Chenin Blanc, Gamy Beaujolais and their specialty--Sparkling wine in the region.
 
Gerald grew up in the Champagne region of France, where his family has enjoyed three generations of successful Champagne production. Supplementing his hands-on experience in the family winery, Gerald's education includes several degrees in enology from universities in France.
 
The wood sided winery and tasting room is set in a country atmosphere with a large deck with picnic tables that overlooks the vineyards. The cozy tasting room provides offers a warm hospitable environment to taste their méthode Champenoise wine.
 
They winery also produces Zinfandel, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chenin Blanc, Merlot, and Sauvignon Blanc.
