Riverstar Vineyards is family owned and operated and located in the rich vineyard region northeast of Paso Robles. The Dutton family has been growing grapes in Paso Robles since 1986. The 80 acres of vines were originally comprised of three varietals, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, and Merlot, but now the vineyard has expanded to producing Sauvignon Blanc and Zinfandel. These wines have been collecting awards ever since the winery opened.

The tasting room and winery was built in a converted horse barn. Walking into the room, wine lovers are greeted with a beautifully arid space, equipped with a long marble counter to serve the tastings of the delicious Riverstar wines. The gift shop displays an assortment of spices, jams, jellies and an array of fine specialty wine accessories and other wine-related products, perfect for gift-giving or to take home. They even sport olive oils and salsas, perfect tastes to compliment Riverstar's own wine varietals.

Outside, there is a luxurious view of the vineyard, with its rolling hills of vines planted near the Estrella river.

The winery offers a relaxing picnic site overlooking this view and offers to pair up any of their wines with meals brought by guests. There is also vacation rentals on the property, offering anyone visiting the Paso Robles wine country to stay and enjoy the spacious cottages and views.
