Rock Canyon Vineyards started as a breeding ranch for Spanish Andalusian horses and added grapes to its repertoire in 2000.

They are a boutique winery and offer tours and tastings by appointment.

Varietals grown are Zinfandel, Cabernet Sauvignon, Sangiovese and Syrah

Best Wine Tour Ever

I'm a 40+ year wine enthusiast. My friend Kirby and I had the privelage to visit and tour with the Winemaker Tim. I am thrilled to find a local top notch boutique winery with such an innovative and friendly winemaker. The site is about a 20 minute drive from Alpine and includes a 2 mile dirt road. It was my best wine tour experiance ever!
