Rombauer Vineyards Description

Rombauer Vineyards is nestled on a quiet little hill where beautiful views of the valley floor can be seen from our terrace.

Rombauer Vineyards was founded in 1982 by Koerner and Joan Rombauer and sits on a tree covered knoll overlooking the Napa Valley. The winery features caves that extend for over a mile into the hillside. The caves provide a constant temperature and humidity which result in optimum conditions for aging wines.

Rombauer Vineyards' primary focus is the production of ultra-premium Napa Valley and Carneros varietals. Koerner Rombauer, together with winemaker Richie Allen, crafts a limited production of Carneros Chardonnay, Merlot, Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon and Zinfandel. A reservation is required for parties of 6 or more.

Rombauer - don't waste time with a stop
drdan, Port Orange
Stingiest pourings during our last visit. Friendliness of the staff was woefully missing. Would not return nor recommend a stop for a tasting. Use your money to purchase one of their chardonnays, but do not waste time at the winery.

Try out Rombauer
NapaWino, Fresno
Yet another stop in St. Helena. They make premium wines based strictly out of Napa. Really liked their Zin.
