Sarzotti Winery is a complete hands-on operation, the family growing Cabernet Sauvignon and Zinfandel on the gently sloping hills of Templeton. The Sarzotti family's winemaking heritage began in Italy in the 1800's and continues in the U.S. today. They moved to Templeton in 1999 and are now the fourth generation in winemaking. The rolling hills, warm days, and cool nights are not that much different from the Mediterranean weather of Tuscany.
The family has a commitment to crafting wines that are consistently high in quality at an exceptional value. Amongst thier Cabernet Sauvignon and Zinfandel, Sarzotti Winery also creates exquisit Merlot, Chardonnay, Syrah, and Petit Sirah. There is a quiet picnic area outside the tasting room where wine lovers can enjoy their meal with a beautiful view of the vineyard with a glass of Sarzotti wine.
