Shadow Mountain Vineyards and Winery Description
Shadow Mountain Vineyards and Winery is located on the east side of Mount Palomar on the Historic Butterfield Stage Route. The original vineyard, Old Gus Vineyard, was planted in 1943 and is still producing.
The tasting room, visitor center and picnic areas are open Wednesday through Sunday from 10am to 5pm and most Monday holidays. |

 Very, worth the driveansmom, San Diego Very great wine, I like the reds. Tasting room is in vineyards on the back road/79 of San Diego area. The Owner was poouring in the tasting room and even though several people were in the room he took the time to answer my questions and detailed descriptions of the wines. Well worth the drive
