Nestled a few miles north of the Napa County line, Six Sigma Ranch is the 4300 acre home to not only 50 acres of prime vineyards, but also to diverse wildlife, steep mountains, rolling hills and picturesque valleys. It is a wine destination worth discovering.
The owners have integrated the vineyards with native vegetation, making the grapevines look like a part of the natural landscape. All of the vineyards provide wildlife corridors to preserve the natural habitat and allow the movement of deer, bobcat, wild turkey, wild pigs, and bear that grace the area. Currently there are about 40 acres of grapevines planted at altitudes of 1,400 to 2,800 ft.
Ground has been broken for a hospitality building that will include eight guest suites, a commercial kitchen and dining room, barrel storage, in addition to hospitality and tasting rooms and offices.
Currently a unique little cabin, built on a site that used to be a stage stop, invites visitors to sample their Six Sigma Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, Bordeaux blends and their flagship Tempranillo. This wine boasts charming black fruit flavors including sweet black cherries, blackberries and mission figs. The ranch has a lawn with picnic tables and lovely views.
