Terra Valentine winery is led by the philosophy that great wine begins in the vineyard. Their winemaker, Sam Baxter, and the vineyard staff thus oversee every aspect of growth on their vineyard, from planting to harvest. The diversity of mountain terrain and vine orientation demands that the team evaluate vineyard practices block by block. Terra Valentine currently produces 7000 cases, annually concentrating on their Estate Cabernet Sauvignon. They also offer small lots of other varietals only available at the winery or through their website.

Terra Valentine aims to give visitors a unique experience at their tasting room. From their balcony, the view overlooks St. Helena and the valley below. The winery offers a tour that begins with a viewing of the state-of-the-art winemaking equipment, continuing on through the wonderful architectural features of the winery, and ending with a tasting of Terra Valentine wines, including the single vineyard Cabernet Sauvignons. The tasting includes a decadent pairing with artisan cheese salami, almonds, & crackers. The tour and tasting pairing is scheduled by appointment only.
