Valley Gate Vineyards is situated at the southern tip of Napa Valley, overlooking the surrounding serene countryside. The vineyard was originally acres of grazing land until it was converted in the 1980’s and planted with grapevines. Now the gently sloping terrain and moderate climate produces superior grapes. Among the varietals that are planted on the estate are Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, Viognier, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Syrah, and Cabernet vines. There are two winemakers on site: David Dobson, who creates and manages all the white wines, and David Stevens, who oversees all the reds. Valley Gate Vineyards is open daily and welcomes visitors to come try all their artfully crafted wines.
