Vina Robles Description
Vina Robles has been making expressive, fruit-forward Burgundy, Bordeaux and Rhone-style wines since 2001, but it wasn’t until 2007 that its grand 14,000-square-foot, rock-walled tasting room and hospitality center was completed.
The California-mission-style center is located on 30 acres, surrounded by newly planted vineyards and adjacent to the Hunter Ranch Golf Course. An expansive
courtyard with many nooks, fountains and table areas greets visitors as they enter the facility. Inside are tall, soaring ceilings, dramatic artwork By Tomas, event spaces and banquet rooms. The tasting room has a modern yet old-world European flair with its fireplace, picture windows and triangular tasting bar. The retail area features unique gifts, gourmet items from Dean & Deluca, cookbooks, and a deli section with artisan cheeses, crackers and meats.
Vina Robles’ wines are made from grapes grown in their extensive Paso Robles-area vineyards. Their Chardonnay is made from cooler Edna Valley fruit. Cold fermentation winemaking techniques are used to preserve the aromas and bright fruit characteristics of the grapes. To extract the most flavor and color without introducing harsh tannins, “pump-overs” are regularly incorporated. Malolactic fermentation is later completed in barrels.
All wines are made off-site at the nearby Courtside Cellar custom-crush facility while awaiting construction of their own winery facility off nearby Union Road.
There are two tastings available. The Cuvée Collection Tasting can be paired with artisan cheeses, provided by Vivant Fine Cheeses.Click Here for their handy food & wine pairing guide.

Vina is Viva! James, Santa Monica Spectacular set up here just off the highway east of Paso Robles. There is an extensive high end gourmet gift area and then the stunning tasting room with brightly colored paintings and comfortable couches and even a fireplace. The Cab the Petite Sirah and the Chard and Sauvignon Blanc were great and well priced. It is a fun place to stop and their courtyard has tables to have lunch on and hang out.

Very Impressed Rocko, Very impressive place right along the road though once you are there it feels like you are out in the country. (I guess you are.) The place is very upscale yet accessible and friendly. The tasting room is large and roomy and the wines are very likable. Gourmet treats in the gift area and a great outdoor veranda for munching and sipping.

Fun spot to taste! Wino, Fresno We loved this place. It is right off the road and very impressive in both its look, feel, and most of all wine. There are many wines that are excellent here including their Syrah, Cab and Chardonnay. But try them all! Their gift shop is also very good with some unique items that I have not seen elsewhere. The people were great and we will be back.

Lots of fun here Margo, San Francisco This is a new winery in Paso right along tasting row out on Highway 46. A very impressive rock built building with a cool tasting room. We actually sat outside at our own table in their expansive patio. They have lots of events here and people have a good time. We liked their reds the best.
