Vina Robles Description
Vina Robles craft wines that represent a stylistic bridge between the Old and New worlds, capturing the finesse associated with European wines while celebrating the bold natural flavors of our estate vineyards in Paso Robles. Owner proprietor Hans Nef and managing partner Hans – R. Michel bring their Swiss heritage to California’s Central Coast, where they aim to unite the best of both experiences.
They specialize in varieties that excel in the complex soils and nuanced microclimates of Paso Robles, including Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, Syrah, Petite Sirah, Viognier, Sauvignon Blanc and others.
Their winemaking approach emphasizes structure and balance, harnessing our rich Paso Robles fruit with grace and food friendliness. The resulting wines exhibit ripe flavors with polished tannins and fresh natural acidity.
The Vina Robles story began in 1997, when the Nef family planted the first of what would become four estate vineyards in Paso Robles—Jardine, Pleasant Valley, Creston Valley and Huerhuero. The Huerhuero Vineyard is the cornerstone of their estate wines, where the rolling oak-studded hills reach an elevation of 1,030 feet.
A fifth vineyard, Adelaida Springs Ranch, was recently added. Here, in the rugged coastal mountains at an elevation of 1,700 feet, 12 miles from the Pacific, they grow Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot for our award-winning Suendero blend and other Cuvée Collection wines.

Love love love!expat.j, Los Altos I loved this place for both wine tasting & having a picnic!! The building, gallery, outdoor picnic area, front garden, all were quite impressive. The wine was all good too. Three starts for value because even though there were some excellent deal on some, the one I really liked was quite expensive and I had to give up :-( I signed up on Facebook and keep myself informed of all the events because I'm planning to go back there!

Viva Vina!Rhaas, Los Angeles Visited during Zin Fest. The winery is huge, and has wedding facilities as well as a large gift shop. I usually prefer the smaller, more family-style operations, but the wines were quite good and many were a great value. The Signature wine is amazing, if a little pricey. The cab and petite sirahs are great and an excellent value. The staff were very friendly and attentive even with the hustle and bustle that weekend. We will be back.

Vina is Viva!James, Santa Monica Spectacular set up here just off the highway east of Paso Robles. There is an extensive high end gourmet gift area and then the stunning tasting room with brightly colored paintings and comfortable couches and even a fireplace. The Cab the Petite Sirah and the Chard and Sauvignon Blanc were great and well priced. It is a fun place to stop and their courtyard has tables to have lunch on and hang out.

Very ImpressedRocko, Very impressive place right along the road though once you are there it feels like you are out in the country. (I guess you are.) The place is very upscale yet accessible and friendly. The tasting room is large and roomy and the wines are very likable. Gourmet treats in the gift area and a great outdoor veranda for munching and sipping.

Fun spot to taste!Wino, Fresno We loved this place. It is right off the road and very impressive in both its look, feel, and most of all wine. There are many wines that are excellent here including their Syrah, Cab and Chardonnay. But try them all! Their gift shop is also very good with some unique items that I have not seen elsewhere. The people were great and we will be back.

Lots of fun hereMargo, San Francisco This is a new winery in Paso right along tasting row out on Highway 46. A very impressive rock built building with a cool tasting room. We actually sat outside at our own table in their expansive patio. They have lots of events here and people have a good time. We liked their reds the best.
