About four miles off Highway 84, Westover Vineyards and Palomares Winery have a very secluded and peaceful location. The picturesque, Mediterranean-style villa offers guests the opportunity to enjoy a wide variety of wines, ports and sparkling wine in a creek-side setting that features a large homey tasting room, picnic areas, a waterfall, hiking trails and horses.

The property hosts a number of annual events including jazz, reggae, and classical music concerts. There is a creek-side picnic area, a gift shop and a full-service beauty salon, with even massage available. Call ahead for an appointment.

You enter the property through black iron gates and cross over the creek to the winery and tasting room. This is a lovely country setting, and well worth the effort to get there. You will be rewarded with a stunning array of wines, including Cabernet Sauvignon, sparkling wine, Chardonnay, Gewurztraminer, Merlot, Mourvedre, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Noir, Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, White Zinfandel, Zinfandel, Petite Verdot, Cabernet Franc, and a dozen Ports, including Cabernet Port, White Chocolate Port and Tawny Port.
