White Oak Winery Description
White Oak Winery specializes in producing entirely estate-grown fruit from its vineyard sites in Alexander, Russian River, and Napa Valleys. The Mediterranean-style winery is in a very scenic area of Alexander Valley, and allows visitors ample room to stroll the grounds, enjoy a picnic, and of course taste wine.
The estate is nestled among seventeen acres of Zinfandel vines dating back to 1929. The winery is known for its consistency of bottlings, with special accolades going to its Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon and Russian River Valley Sauvignon Blanc. Tasting room hosts are very friendly and they obviously take pride in their estate grown wines. Visitors can also sample olive oil that is grown and bottled on the property.
White Oak Vineyards & Winery has nearly 750 acres of vineyards divided between the Napa, Alexander and Russian River Valleys. Roughly 10% of this fruit is used in White Oak wines with the balance being sold to other well known prestige wineries. |

 Great cabifly250, Ft. Myers I stopped by White Oak after taking the scenic drive through the Alexander Valley. The winery was having an event that day and had some tents put up, but the tasting room was still open, and very crowded, even for a Saturday. Their cabs were most memorable and I picked up a few bottles. I even broke down for a bottle of their estate grown Olive oil. Very cool, Mediterranean feel to the place.
