Wiens Family Cellars Description
Wiens Family Cellars has one of the newest and most hospitable tasting rooms in the valley, offering visitors a first-class wine-tasting experience. The family is known for their "Big Reds," like the 2002 Merlot and 2003 Cabernet Reserve, as well as their rare White Port.
The spacious grounds have patios and event areas, lawns and vineyards. The richly decorated interior creates a warm, welcoming atmosphere while still being quite spacious. Bistro-style tables allow tasters to sit back from the tasting bars to enjoy their sampling.
Wiens Family Cellars is owned by four Wiens brothers and supported by no fewer than 46 members of the extended family. The family makes almost two dozen wines including California varietals, blends, ports and sparkling wines. The wines are made in small lots, with the reds fermented in small bins. Whites are pressed and slowly cold-fermented, creating food-friendly wines with complexity and flavor.
Music, theater, comedy shows and wine events take place throughout the year.

Wiens a winner!rauch@hotelguru.com, san diego Sharon was very knowledgeable and friendly. The atmosphere was contemporary and impeccable. For $15 you get to taste 6 outstanding wines. The '07 Petite Sirah was awesome. The quality is as good as any in Temecula. Highly recommended!

WiensEvaree, Los Angeles We had a very friendly woman helping us choose our wine. The quality of each of the wines was very high for a tasting menu. The Meritage was my favorite overall. I would go back each time I visit Temecula.

Best of Temecula WineriesTheCount, Menifee I love their Refugio Cab - it's amazingly smooth and full of fruit, even though it's a young wine. And their orange champagne is perfect for brunch. Staff has always been friendly and fun - something you don't always get at Temecula wineries. For my money, one of the best wine tasting experiences in the Temecula Valley.

Truly Big RedsNotemwine, Murrieta The wines at Wiens family Cellars are exceptional. Each wine is distinct, portraying its unique varietal character. The tasting room is upscale yet comfortable. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Wiens is one of the few Temecula wineries that allow picnics on the grounds; great for a family or group wine tasting. I would recommend joining the wine club to receive a 20% discount on these fine wines. Even though you can order on line through www.wienscellars.com, I recommend visiting the winery for the full experience.

A great experience!jibajaba, I love Wiens wines!
If you love red wine, this is the place to go. Their entire list is very, very good and they pour heavy! :-)
The serving room is spacious and comfortable and their employees are great.
This place is a must if you're going to Temcula!
