Wild Heart Winery Description

Located along a gravel path in the heart of Los Olivos is the elegant Tuscan-style tasting room of Wild Heart Winery. Their wines are made in nearby Lompoc, and they produce Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Viognier, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Zinfandel, as well as Rhone and Tuscan blends.

The tasting room is an appealing mix of custom jewelry, original fine art, fancy chocolates, specialty gifts, shirts, decanters, hand painted glasses, and wine! The expansive L- shaped tasting bar doubles as a jewelry display case, and the walls are covered with mirrors, art and tapestries. Music drifts in to complete the tasting experience.

I was unfamiliar with this winery and it slightly off of the normal wine path for the Santa Ynez Valley. It was interesting because you literally try your wines on top of cases filled with lovely homemade artisan jewelry. This was my last stop of the day and I am extremely glad we did go in. Although I did not give it a 4 rating I would still recommend going in. The wines were good but a little too rich and overpowering for me.
