Young's Vineyard Description
Just a few miles from the settlement of Plymouth is the resort-like setting of Young’s Vineyard. The winery property is a treat to explore, as is their wine list, which is filled with rich red Amador County wines.
The tasting room resides in an attractive redwood barn surrounded by lovely gardens, vineyards, ponds, picnic areas and lush lawns. Stroll around back and check out the Cabin Cruiser docked in the lagoon.
Once you enter the tasting “barn,” you realize that it is actually a very stylish space with flagstone floors, elegant chandeliers, a mahogany-topped tasting bar and wine-colored walls. Snacks of cheeses and crackers accompany the tasting experience.
Young’s produces an estate Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel, Syrah, Sangiovese, Barbera and the white Rhone wine Roussanne. The winery operation is a family affair. Nancy Steel makes the wine, while Jeannie Vodden paints the exquisite labels for the winery.
Limos with appointment.

chilly reception...mistafisha, roseville I've been going to Young's for years, love their Spring Release party, even got engaged at Young's. I was excited to share Young's we some of my best friends. Not sure if it was Kelly that "helped" us, but she was anything but friendly. She was just plain rude.
Not sure if she was just having a bad day or if Young's needs to move their tasting room to Napa...but we won't be going back or buying their wine.

PR or Wineftnator, Vacaville I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS WINERY TO ANYONE. I don't care if they make good wines. The personality and service are the life blood of any winery. This so called "lady" at Young's was very rude. I walked into the tasting area where there were already at least 10 people tasting. She glared at me and followed me with her eyes and then asked, "Can I help you". And just like Katie T, she poured the wine, walked away, didn't talk. If fact the other lady and her went into the back are while I stood there by myself tasting their wine. I only had 4 out of the nine tastings. As I proceeded to leave she walked me to the door. Very rude! I don't know how they manage to stay in business...
